Hey everyone,

I recently purchased a 2009 Impreza 2.5i Hatchback, however couple months later I realized I could have afforded a WRX.....c'est la vie.
I love this car, got some rims to dress it up, just looking for a bit more of performance.
I enquired with Subaru and since I can't find any catback exhaust kits for anything listed other than a WRX or STi.
I was informed that the 2008 model year would fit, but he didn't know for certain if a WRX kit would fit on the reg 2.5.
Was wondering if anyone could shed some light as to if a WRX kit would fit, or if I have to go the custom made route.

I can't see Subaru placing the cat in a different place so I would imagine a Cat-Back from a 08+ WRX may fit. I would just find one that is priced where you want it and the look you want and phone and see if it will fit.

check a few different manufacturers sites. HKS, Mugen, Etc. See if they have different kits for the different cars. If it's the same kit, you're golden.

Welcome to the site! As Ryan said the Catback should fit, and check with AMS as I heard they were going to be building an exhaust for the Impreza.

LOL Thad very funny, but in all reality I'm pretty sure I've heard far more different exhaust combination's on Subaru's then anyone here.
